If you die, the group life insurance pays out 5 times the basic amount of the the national insurance (Norwegian Only).
The basic amount increases May 1st every year, and the compensation amount will then increase accordingly.
The compensation from group life insurances is paid regardless of the time, place and cause of the death.
Your spouse or cohabitant is the recipient of the money. If you are single, the money goes to your life heirs, then to your estate if you don't leave any. The group lofe insurance is paid out in addition to any payment from occupational injury insurance.
